How Hejabi uses cookies and local storage — kept to a minimum.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Local storage works similarly — it lets the shop remember things between your visits. We keep our use to the essentials needed for the shop to work.
What we use
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only things we store on your device are:
- Your shopping cart — so the pieces you selected stay in your bag as you browse.
- Your cookie-notice choice — so we don't show the cookie banner again once you've dismissed it.
- Your login session — if you create an account, a token keeps you signed in.
Third-party services
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies as part of that process, governed by Google's privacy policy. Our "WhatsApp" links open wa.me and do not place tracking cookies on our site.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Note that doing so will empty your shopping cart and sign you out. The essential storage we use is required for the shop to function, so it cannot be switched off independently.
